Brown Brothers Wine & Food Festival: "Discovery"
Sat 15 November 2008

The annual Brown Brothers Wine and Food Festival - is a spectacular 2 day event showcasing premium wine and food, quality live entertainment and regional gourmet produce stalls. You can sample treats from some of the region’s finest restaurants offering delicacies all matched to a Brown Brothers wine. After the rigours and tastes of the festival you can sit down with a glass of Brown Brothers wine and take in the scenery or enjoy a coffee or visit the Farmers’ Market.

Activities in the grounds will also feature around the discovery theme with wine seminars or spend some time in the discovery marquee where you can meet the Brown Family and their newest release wines.

A range of activities available over the two days will keep you entertained, such as great live entertainment by The Lounge and The Night Owls, Milawa Gourmet Region Farmers Market stalls, Vineyard and Winery Tours and wine and food seminars. We haven’t forgotten our smallest visitors either ~ Trixie the Clown will be here again to entertain the kids with face painting, balloon art and her magic show.

Cellar Door will be open each day from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Our full range will be available including some special new releases.

A $10 tasting fee (including a souvenir wine glass) applies on Saturday & Sunday with all proceeds to Wines of the King Valley to develop local wine tourism.

Shipping is a terrible thing to do to vegetables. They probably get jet-lagged, just like people. ~Elizabeth Berry
