We keep a small flock of chickens for eggs and meat, we have a small orchard and a pretty decent sized garden. I'm an amateur beekeeper (though I'm taking a little break from that right now), I make soap and candles too. Best of all, I'm a stay at home mom to the best little girl on the planet. We spend our days gardening, tending the birds and messing around with various projects.
I go by 'catinhat' online...and when I talk about the family, the little one is 'kitteninhat' and hubby is 'husbandinhat'. Other than the livestock (heh) we share Ten Things Farm with our striped gray cat, Mr. Morton.
