Back in the mists of time, I once had a boyfriend who referred to me as a 'deep dish' and the pun stuck. When it came time to name my blog, it just seemed right to unearth it.

Deep Dish Dreams is a food blog. Food is my number one love after Mr Stickyfingers, followed closely by art, culture and theatre. It's not strictly a recipe blog, I ramble about other food topics, restaurants, food business and marketing too. But mostly it is me telling stories and wearing my heart on my sleeve. A sleeve that is woven from threads of personal history and my connection between food and love.
